1. Bah Humbug: A One Man Show

Come to The Grapevine in Gruene for Bah Humbug; a one-man show that takes Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and adds a fun spin. Award-winning actor Damian Gillen will reprise his role as, well, everybody! From Scrooge to Tiny Tim, see this beloved story be told in a new and inventive way, all while still packing the emotional punch we are used to.

2. Wassailfest

As one of the most beloved events in New Braunfels, Wassailfest is celebrating its 25th annual gathering on December 7th of this year. This evening is always filled with music, food, shopping, thousands of holiday lights, and (of course) all the wassail you can drink. This is one of the most iconic ways to usher in the December holidays in New Braunfels, so we hope to see you there!

3. The Nutcracker

This year, bring the family to see a performance of a classic holiday ballet! In “The Nutcracker,” Clara dreams that her nutcracker has come to life, and an epic battle ensues as an evil king comes to steal her away. Don’t miss this classic tale of sugar plums, love, and Christmas! Tickets are available here.

4. Landa Haus Festivities

Plenty is going on at Landa Haus on December 16th that will have you sticking around all day. In the morning, enjoy breakfast with the Grinch (don’t forget to bring your cameras), then hang out with Santa Claus and enjoy snacks crafts and cookie decorating. Finally, take a train ride through Landa Park where it will stop at a viewing of the Polar Express film. See you there!

5. The Grand Ol’ Christmas Show

Don’t miss one of the greatest Christmas musical extravaganzas of the year! Blue Water Highway Band hosts the Grand Ol’ Christmas Show every year, and every year it sells out way in advance. Presented in the format of a radio broadcast, get ready to feel deep Christmas feelings. Get your tickets now!
