About Chris Resendez
Chris was born in Killeen, Texas, and grew up in Austin, Texas. After graduating from John H. Reagan High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a Blackhawk Crew chief for 7 years before being accepted into U.S. Army flight school and became a Blackhawk Pilot where he retired after 22 years of service. Chris participated in serving and supporting during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Hurricane Katrina as well as Hurricane Rita. He continued his service to the community by flying EMS for several years completing his aviation career. While in the Army, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management. Though he's traveled all over the country and within Texas, the Lone Star State has been home to Chris for over 20 years in New Braunfels. Now retired from the military, Chris is very involved with veterans' non-profit organizations that assist with local veteran programs and individuals in need. He also works with Relay for Life and The Salvation Army of New Braunfels.
