Krause Springs | Spicewoood, TX
Founded in 1955, Krause Springs has long been hailed as a favorite Hill Country hideaway, featuring primitive campsites and RV sites alongside a gorgeous gathering of over thirty natural springs, several of which feed into the man-made pool and the natural pool (which flow into Lake Travis). A bit out-of-the-way (approximately 1.5 hours from New Braunfels, just outside Spicewood), we think Krause Springs is well-worth the trek. The natural area stretches across 115 acres of lush Texas paradise, framed by an awning of outstretched cypress trees and minty-green waters.
