2. Get Schooled on Sparkling Wine at Winery U

If your level of wine connoisseur stops at, “Well, the label is pretty!”, you certainly aren’t alone. While we love to read about tasting notes and regional flavors, the details can get a bit muddled (especially after a glass or two). If you’re interested in upping your wine IQ, you might want to invest in some “formal education” at Dry Comal Creek’s “Winery U”. This weekend’s two-hour class will focus on sparkling wines. But Winery U doesn’t stop at teaching you the complexities of wine...you’ll also have the opportunity to taste a variety of wines firsthand, from France, Spain, Italy, and beyond. Sign up today!

Dry Comal Creek Vineyards is the pride and joy of the Houser family. Started in the 1970s, Comal Vineyards started as just over 100 acres of land just outside of New Braunfels, full of wild mustang grapes and dewberries. Today, the Black Spanish grape vines have made the vineyard a well-renowned pioneer in Texas winemaking.
